The crane shown supports a large wrecking ball

The crane shown supports a large wrecking ball of mass Mon a cable of length L – 16.5 m. The trussed beam of the crane can be approximated as a uniform beam of mass 460 kg, and the two supporting cables (those attached to the top of the crane’s cab) can each have a maximum tension of 55 kN. Assume that all cables and the beam are co planar.

(a) Find the maximum wrecking ball mass that the crane can support,

(b) Assume that the wrecking ball can act as a simple pendulum. Find expressions for the position, velocity, and acceleration of the pendulum as a function of time. For this part, fill in your expressions with numerical values as much as possible.
